I worked at a small coffee shop in my home town of La Grande, Oregon after college during 2022-2023. While working there, my boss had asked me to create items for the business using my artistic abilities. This was great as a fresh graduate. My real first experience working with someone outside of school. This helped me grow when it came to communicating with clients, working together to create the desired end result of a product, and helped me grow in my confidence in design.
